Good small smoker
Bought this as I want to smoke foods and as a quick set up BBQ. The instructions are a bit hit and miss took about 1.5hrs to put together once done it is quite sturdy. Set about firing up the smoker which being compact was easy you have to mess around with the temps and how to increase and decrease the air flow it does leak a little from the lid so control is quite important to maintain heat, easy to clean afterwards. The main BBQ is ok in size for 4-6 people and nice that it has 3 detachable cast iron grates which again were easy to clean, the coal grate is attached to a pullout inner but is hard to clean with it being a barrel but doable, the temperature gauge is quite good measures F° +C°, with it being fairly cheap I thought it might warp a little but so far it hasn't also the paint turned a matt black but hasn't peeled. It's easy to move around the side tray is useful for trays or hanging utensils the bottom tray is good for a medium storage box for coals lighters etc. I bought a large cover but med would fit. Overall I would recommend this BBQ smoker grill.

I’m happy with it. It does need some of the gaps round the lid sorting, but then it’ll be brilliant. I’d recommend this, but on the understanding you’ll need some fire putty to stop the smoke leaking quite so much.

What an amazing BBQ

There are no holes drilled through the side of the Home Drum Charcoal BBQ with Smoker to enable a rotisserie to be fitted. Also any modification made to the barbecue could invalidate the Warranty.

This uses Charcoal only. Charcoal is available in lump wood form (large irregular pieces) and as briquettes (uniformly sized pieces). Please use the charcoal complying to EN1860-2.

“ There is a sliding door (parts#19) on the side firebox allows the user to adjust the amount of the air flow. Please see IM pg27 (step 12) for installation these parts to the item. ”

No, the Home Drum Charcoal BBQ with Smoker does not come with assembling tools. You will require a Philips screwdriver adjustable wrench or spanner, small hammer and a ruler/tape measure.

The Home Drum Charcoal BBQ with Smoker is a barbecue solely for use with charcoal so therefore can be used as a standard barbecue with or without the side fire box for smoker. Charcoal coals are used in both areas.

The Argos Home Drum Charcoal BBQ with Smoker does not have an opening to let used ash out for cleaning. It's recommended to line the firebowl with aluminium cooking foil, shiney side up and with ventilation holes where necessary, so the ash be removed easily once cooled.
