A really excellent product.
Have 2 of these battery operated outdoor cameras that survey the whole house from outside on phone. Gives great assurance when abroad. With a single charge the battery functions for about 2 months. Full charge takes about 10 hours but even a few hours is often ok. They have been excellent. The battery of one of them went after 12 years so just bought a new one for £45 . Discrete and good surveillance images

Poor battery life
I bought this to keep an eye an elderly relative with dementia. The camera is activated approximately 20 times per day. I have all the settings at recommended settings to ensure battery doesn’t drain too quickly. I needed a battery operated camera because they kept switching the mains camera off. But after only 3 weeks the camera’s battery is at only 20%. It also really struggles with the WiFi signal. Not impressed.

i have it looking out the window to watch the car. got it on max sensitivity. the only thing it picks up is the very faint reflection of my cat when he sits on the window cill.

No, you should not point the camera at a window because the glass will negatively impact its motion detection, especially at night. It's recommended to use outside to monitor outside spaces and inside for inside spaces.
