Ice cubes on demand whenever you need them. The Cookworks Ice Cube Maker produces fresh ice in 8 minutes, with a choice of small or large cubes. Its 105W power keeps things efficient, and the 1.8l capacity means you can produce plenty without constant refilling. It stores up to 12kg of ice, about 100 cubes ready when you need them. The clear top window lets you check progress at a glance, while easy-press buttons and indicators show when to add water or clean. It includes a plastic scoop and ice basket for serving, and the compact design fits neatly on your worktop.

Not the best
I bought this as we were having a small family party at home and thought it would be good to have ice cubes without buying them. I put the setting on to make large cubes and they came out tiny! Certainly not large! I also thought the machine could just be on but not constantly making ice cubes but it can’t be - it will keep making more if it’s left on so then you have to switch it off and bag up the cubes, which then stick together in the freezer! Pretty disappointed with this purchase and wish I hadn’t bothered buying it!

Not the best , now firstly you can’t leave this one on and just take ice when you want which is what I thought it was . You have to make the ice then bag it and put it in your own freezer which is a faff …. Then of course you go to use your ice and it’s all one congealed piece of ice and you have to smash it about abit then the bag bursts and you get ice everywhere in the kitchen … the ice is weird it’s not a piece of ice it’s a ice piece that has water inside because it’s been made quickly so it’s basically not a solid piece hence why when you bag it it freezes together with all the other pieces of ice .. all in all not what I wanted bit rubbish really

Fantastic During The Heatwave
I have been using this ice maker for several months now, it really is fantastic. My better half moaned when i purchased it, we didnt need it waste of money blah, blah. However its been on all day every day since purchase, the whole family been filling their glasses day and night. In this heatwave we have air coolers also so the constant supply of ice to pour into the water has been brilliant!! It takes a bit of space on worktop but looks good. Only really hear any noise when its emptying ice into the basket. If you leave it on you get a good supply of ice, takes about 7 minutes to produce each load so great if having a party as long as you top water up keeps producing. Have to clean it if off for 24hrs but not difficult just drain the water out and start again. Ours has been on constantly for several months now no issues at all. Its a good price compared to more industrial ones but in my opinion this one is great for a family of 5, and if you just need it for a party etc. I would buy it again.

Bought for a party and makes ice brilliant. Bagged up and put in the freezer. They do melt quicker than normal shop bought ice cubes, but still good to have on "tap".

Hello I have taken a look at the instructions for the Cookworks 1.8L Ice Cube Maker. The information provided in this document advises that the ice cubes should be transferred to a freezer or ice bucket and if the machine is not going to be used again it should be switched off.
As the machine will be switched off then, then no, the ice will not be kept frozen in the machine. thanks for using Q and A.

Thats totally wrong information if its 27p per kw that means the machine is a tenth of that price so 3 pence per hour to run as the machine is just over 100 watts there is 1000 watts in a kw. So for a 24 hour period its 3p x 24 is 72p per 24 hour period
I can advise, based on the average electricity tariff in the UK of 26.65p per kWh at the time of responding, the 105 watt Cookworks 1.8L Ice Cube Maker will cost approximately 28p per hour to run, which is approximately £6.72 if used continually in a 24 hour period.

Cheap a cheerful white vinegar Ive this ice maker 2 years and no problems 1 cycle with white vinegar 2 to flush out through drain plug

Hi there 1 inch long and just under 1 inch wide
2 sizes, small and large. Large is an estimated 1.5-2 cm. They are a cylindrical shape as they are made on tubes. Not cubes. Great bit of kit.
