I bought this to replace a Philips model where the chopper had broken . I am really impressed with the power of the motor. It has worked well chopping nuts which is the main reason I bought it. The release mechanism for attachments is easy to use. Easy to clean. I bought my mum one too. Would recommend.

Hot food produces steam that can pressurise the container when closed and sealed. This will may make the unit crack or release the pressure fast when opening and thus isn't safe to do so.
