Have now bought two of these indoor aerials. One for a high rise flat and it didn't work and a second for a ground floor property. That didn't work either Both have been returned. Do not connect within the radius stated. Avoid.

It’s a toss of a coin if it works
After reading reviews I knew this would be a gamble. That’s not to say I didn’t do my homework first. I checked the freeview signal checker website and eventually was pointed to one for all’s website. This aerial was in a list of about 6 different models what where recommended to me. The instructions show the ideal set up of having your tv right next to a window, mine isn’t. It’s on the wall in the kitchen. The closest window is about 4meters away, (if I have the cable stretched out across the room.) Obviously not ideal. Also there is only a limited amount of wire. So even if it did work I’d have to purchase more stuff to make it look neat and tidy. But if I was going to have cables running all around my kitchen I might aswell have used the aerial on my roof. Took back to Argos no problem for a full refund.

The manufacturers, they recommend using this aerial within a range of 15 miles from your transmitter.
If within the distance of the transmitter it will work but may pixalate depending on the terrain, and, may not receive all available channels.
Argos always reccomends an external Aerial installed by an aerial engineer is installed for best reception of all freeview channels.

The supplier has advised the following for the One For All SV9436 Amplified Indoor TV Aerial:
Aerials do not send or broadcast any signal they only receive the signal from the transmitter. A One For All Aerial does not have any health impact.

The cable comng out of the back of the aerial divides in two. One fitting plugs into the tv aerial socket, and the other is for power and can either be plugged into the mains adapeter provided or to the usb port if the tv has one.
