One lid badly cracked
One of the kids were badly cracked. Didn't notice till home as they were sealed together and it was the bottom lid that was broken. Don't have time to return.

Xmas decoration storage
I needed to untangle lights and decorations before returning them to the attic. These boxes were an ideal size and stackable. Only downside that the lids did not clip securely on all of them.

Decent boxes, were ideal for what I wanted them for. Ideal fo stacking and space saving.

Because the Argos staff are answering based on the measurements of the widest point of the boxes. Which is at the lid.
But if you go by the slimmest measurements at the bottom, they are more like 24l.
I bought these and they are definitely not 38l. I have 33.5l boxes from the Really Useful Box company, and those ones are way bigger than these Argos ones.
I then measured them myself to check.
See my other answer where the capacity was asked for.
The capacity is not 38l as stated by Argos staff in a different answer. The measurements of the box given are at the widest point on the overhang at the top. But this box tapers from wide to slim from top to bottom.
It is evident at a glance this is not a 38l box. I have 33.5l boxes from the Really Useful Company, that are bigger than this.
The box measurements at the slimmest points are 29.5cm W x 22cm H x 37.5 L. If we go by the slimmest points, the litre measurement is 24.3l.

The measurment of the box is H24, W45, D36cm as a standard size of A4 Paper is
21.0 x 29.7cm they should fit.
