Does the job
I wanted a large hard drive to back up photos so as not to rely on the cloud. This is high capacity and a bit chunky in size but does what I need at an affordable price.

Fast and good price for the storage
It was faster writing to it than a couple of portable hard drives I have been using. Needs the external power supply and is bigger and heavier, as expected. But I'm using it to backup the portable drives I have, as one of them failed recently. It's pretty quiet, so would probably be useful to someone who wanted extra permanent storage on their PC without having to fit an internal disk.

Solid and dependable
Needed a larger drive to enable a full system backup and this fits the bill. It's as fast and quiet as you could expect without going for a solid state drive. The only negative I could mention is that it is probably not worth (in my opinion anyway) the additional £10 for the Plus part beyond the standard Seagate Expansion drive.

Very poor product
Just the 3rd time I backed up some data onto the drive it failed. Then comes the worry that when you return the product, will the sensitive data will be properly deleted? A complete waste of time and effort.

Yes, however read and write will be lower then a M.2 drive on the motherboard so load times may increase because of it.

You will require a USB Type-C to Micro-B 3.1 Gen2 Cable. You can get one for around 7 pounds from Amazon, although other stockists are available. Just not Argos, as they understand very little about items that they sell....
