I can confirm that the Seagate Expansion Plus 1TB Portable Hard Drive will need an adapter that has a USB-C to USB-A port on it. This will then allow the drive to connect to the iPhone. You will also be needing to run a iOS version that has the Files app installed to allow the phone to see the drive and allow you to access it.

It's possible, however it won't allow for PS5 games themselves to be played, just stored.
