It kept crashing and losing contact with the PC. I have had two Seagate 1TB drives for a while and these have been really good. Sadly the 2TB version is beset with internal issues. Even at around 50% of the price of a competing disk drive, it is safer to may more and get a better product. The drive was returned for a full refund.

Good , little bit of a scam
It's a good product, a little complicated to use but a food product, however I feel slightly swindled as it cost 60 ish pounds for 2 terabytes and I only received 1.8 terrabytes

It will need to use a format supported by OSX, which accepts APFS, FAT and exFAT.
This device is formatted as exFAT by default.

Suits me fine as its being used as a backup for a Windows 11 25H2 laptop.

You can use this external drive to save downloaded PS5 games onto, in order to free up space on your PS5 SSD for new games. You cant play games from this drive however on the console. They can only be played when reloaded onto the PS5 itself.
