I bought this about a month ago and have used it no more than 10 times and the sounds already dodgy. The connection can be dodgy sometimes too and you really have to shout for anyone to hear you. I would spend that little bit more and get a decent headset.

I can confirm that the Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 Xbox, PS5, PS4 Headset will be compatible with the GameSir Kaleid controller. It would plug into the 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom. There is no reason for it not to work, your controller may be faulty.

Charging the Recon 200 is easy, just use the included USB cable.
The Recon 200 can also be used when powered off without some of the included features in case your battery runs out and you don't have the opportunity to charge it.

This heaset is not wireless, they connect to a console via 3.5mm jack.

I can advise the following on the Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 Xbox, PS5, PS4 Headset:
This doesn't have Active Noise Cancelation, this only has general passive cancelation. I'd advise to turn the sound on the TV off and use the features on the console to transfer both the audio from the game as well as the chat to the headset.
