I bought this to rustle up some quick lunchtime snacks. It worked perfectly, now though I have begun to experiment with different fillings. Up to now it's been a success. The machine itself is easy to use, great value for money and works brilliantly. In particular I like the way you can remove the cooking plates and put them in the dishwasher. Excellent value for money, recommended to everyone.

Just as expected. Deep fill means nicer toasted sandwiches. Removable plates make cleaning up after really easy.

Good performance - prepares a nice toasted sandwich, but need to use thin bread slices - otherwise it is VERY difficult to close ready for toasting. A nice feature is the removable inserts that can be easily removed for cleaning

The non-stick coating was not tested against PFOA and PTFE and may contain traces which would be within European/UK requirements. All Breville products are tested and comply with all current safety regulations and legislation to ensure they are safe to use.

Since buying this toaster because it says on the Q and A that it takes larger size bread such as Warburtons .It does not it over hangs by some distance.Small size bread is required.Mine is going back to Argos

The Breville VST082 Ultimate 2 Portion Sandwich Toaster - Black is a deep fill toaster and will take large sliced toastie bread. There is no need to cut off the crusts as the sandwich toaster seals the sandwich so crusts are left on and little or no leakage should occur.
