The Jak 60cm Picture Rail slots into your living room, bedroom or home office and holds your favourite frames in a neat, accessible spot. Wall fixings come included, so you can fasten it straight up without hunting for the right screws or brackets. The ledge holds up to 2kg, enough for a handful of photo frames or smaller artworks. I have bought a number of these shelves and for the amount they cost they are great value. The material is on good quality and doesn't seem at all cheap, and they are very easy to put up. I haven't put as much weight on them as they are supposed to be able to hold, but they seem very sturdy, so I have no doubt they could take up to the 2KG that is claimed.I shall be buying more of them!

The supplier has advised that the Argos Home Jak 60cm Picture Rail - Black is designed to be securely fixed to the wall using screws. For safety reasons, they would not recommend using silicone as the sole fixing method. Regarding the weight, the product weighs 0.72 kg.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Argos Home Jak 60cm Picture Rail - Light Oak Effect: As this product is made of MDF with PVC foil wrapping, it is not recommended to place it over a radiator.

The Habitat Jak 60cm Picture Rail in Birch is designed for displaying family photos and works of art. The width in the middle is 56mm, so it would depend on the size of the mug. However, it’s not specifically intended for holding mugs.
