These are sturdy and great for what I need them for. They first delivery one box was damaged and the replacement delivery two were damaged which was frustrating.

Strong crates which can take weight - I packed books. Lid clips on securely. One of the lids chipped a bit easily so not 5 star but perfectly adequate.

For external box dimensions we use the maximum size of the box with the lid and handles in place =
External: L46.0 x W38.3 x D28.5

The material is Polypropylene.
Our lids and handles are made from the same material however, the handles are recycled.

The Really Useful 33.5 Litre Plastic Nesting Boxes are not to air tight like food boxes are.
