In all honesty I thought they were going to be bigger. But that is my fault for not realising. I soon found good use for them. They are perfect for storing kids toys in so what I've done is variety of toys in each box another for books and one for arts and crafts. Saved my sanity as all I could see was toys everywhere

I bought these as I am going to be looking after my grandson for a few days a week and these are the perfect size. I have one for his books, one for his nappies, cream and wipes and two for his toys. On the days that I don’t have him, they stack neatly in the corner. Perfect size for me.

The lids click on to the boxes, you should just be able to press the lid on for it to shut closed.
They have a click slot on each end of the lid.
I hope that describes it ok for you.
If your ones don’t do that, return them as they must be faulty.
