I thought at first they would be too small for most things I wanted stored but they was great nice and deep also they stand together really well the way the lids are made.

I bought these after checking the measurements, to store many A4 items, after having checked A4 measurements also, however the measurements listed, are the measurements at the top, and as the name might suggest, they are curved. Other than being unsuitable for A4, the quality seemed o.k from what I saw.

The lids click on to the boxes, you should just be able to press the lid on for it to shut closed.
They have a click slot on each end of the lid.
I hope that describes it ok for you.
If your ones don’t do that, return them as they must be faulty.
