Subject to the care and use being followed, the Salter lifetime guarantee promises to replace, substitute or refund any product that fails due to faulty workmanship or materials. This lifetime guarantee does not cover any damage caused by accident or misuse.
You would need to ensure, you are only cleaning the pan as directed by the manufacturer to prevent any damage from using inappropriate cleaning materials, as this would not be covered by the guarantee.
