Short life span
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s good when it works I got mine about 5years ago, after the 2nd year it started making a screeching high pitched sound, so sent it back and got a new 1, then after a year it started making a screeching high pitched sound again. So it’s just left unused. Originally only used for small dry messes, emptied and filter changed every 2 months. So no reason other than it must have a short life span. Which for the price you would expect better and to last minimum 8-10years.

Thoroughly disappointed
Bought this item November 2023 and extremely disappointed to find that it has stopped working, despite being cared for, cleaned regularly and well maintained, it started with intermittently stopping by itself and now won’t start at all. I would have expected given the quality and price point that it would have lasted much longer than it has. Great suction, light weight and good handling, still looks like new, can’t fault that, but, longevity to me, is dire. Will have to resort back to an old hand held Vax, at least that has lasted 6 years thus far.

Excellent vacuum with a couple of suggestions
Excellent handheld vacuum, good looking-don't mind have put on display, battery lasts at least 15 mins and easy to clean. A couple of suggestions, give the handle a grippier surface or a wrist strap and allow the power lead to come out of all four sides of the base rather than just 3.

Disappointed it’s stopped working after 3 years!
Have found this very useful. I bought this 3 years ago and don’t feel I’ve really used it loads but it has suddenly stopped working. I’ve contacted Shark but it is out of the warranty so they can’t replace it. Just very disappointed as it is useful and I would have expected it to last longer than 3 years especially when it isn’t used lots and has been looked after well. My shark hoover that I’ve had for twice and long and is very well used, is still going strong! I have been offered 30% off a new one but that’s still a lot of money for something that’s not a necessity and should last longer.

I am obsessed with this! It’s one of the best household gadgets I’ve ever bought. It works a treat on crumbs, hairs, dust and grit. Just grab it off the base to quickly hoover up things on the floor, carpet or worktop - it’s so easy! I’ve also used it for the stair carpet, which it does reasonably well despite the deep pile, and also general dust removal in bedrooms and bathrooms. I absolutely love it!

Fab piece of kit

Shark WandVac 2.0 Cordless Handheld Vacuum Cleaner
Yes there is a filer which can be removed and cleaned. To do this power off and open the dust cup, pinch both sides of the filter housing and pivot it upward to access the filter. Hold the filter housing over a bin. Lift the fabric filter by the metal ring to remove it from the housing. Tap lightly to remove any dust and debris, then rinse with water only. Let the filter air-dry for at least 24 hours or until completely dry before reinstalling.
