"As this hairdryer is rather on lightweight side, most of our customers do not find it noisy. On a noise scale from 1 to 5, it would be rated as a 2.5." We'd also have to add that, to a degree, how noisy it will seem will be down to personal and subjective opinion as well as how much ambient noise there is in the location it's being used.

Yes Id say its gentle in the way that its just not hot atall! Like not hot enough to dry your hair quickly. I dont see the point of it. The dryer was on my hair longer with this, used the thin nozzle as I always do with a brush. I have long hair down to my bum which usually takes me about half about. This took me over an hour as I had to keep stopping due it taking me ages and tiring me out.

The coolest setting or the cool shot isnt cool enough atall. Its warm. All the heat settings on this simply arent hot enough either to dry the hair. Took me ages to dry it. Wouldnt recommend. Not powerful enough.
