Glad I bought this one, I like the style, the sound of the alarm and that its easy to use. Also big thing for me - the tick is subtle, it’s not a big loud tick sound it’s a rhythmical set of gentle ticks, giving the feel of clockwork parts.

This is a sound, clean looking alarm clock, with a ring that becomes louder and more insistent the longer you leave it. It also has a useful feature to light the dial when needed at night. Ideally the off switch for the alarm would be on the front or top rather than the back. The misleading part of the description is its claim to have a silent second hand. In fact it has no second hand at all! Not really a disadvantage, but misleading.

Bought two of these, not very good, one was broken didn't work alarm very quite, so chose two different ones.
An important part of life It has to be accurate. It has to fit in with the ambiance of the room. It has to be easily read.
This does every thing well except the hands and figures are not luminous. You have to switch on the light to read it at night. In this life you can't have everything.
Brilliant bed side clock, really happy with my purchase.

This was for my living room to replace a carriage clock which had seen better days (there were cracks in the case and the mechanism had loosened) so I wanted a modest-looking clock that didn't look too 'bedroomy'. The black case and gold legs of this clock gives it a smart look.
