Not for fine hair
The gap between blades is pretty big so not suitable for use on fine hair without forcing blades together with a firm grip. Texture on outside is slightly rough so for curling felt like there was a lot of friction so did not give a good result. Probably fine for straightening thicker hair but would not recommend for any fine hair people looking for a straightener to produce curls.

Our supplier has advised the following regarding the Remington Coconut Smooth Ceramic Hair Straightener S5901.
The straighter also works with fine hair, however, we do not advise hair styling very fine hair. Because fine hair is so, well, fine, it is especially vulnerable to breakage, which is why excess heat styling is generally not advised.
