The pads and the phone stand are in a fixed position and not able to be moved. If you flip It around you will not be able to use the phone stand properly.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ingenious Desk Lap Tray: Measurements are roughly: Width: 12 cm and Length: 22 cm. The mouse mat is embedded and cannot be removed.

This is 58cm wide so you'd have only about 13cm of free space on the mousepad part.

I can see this is made for the mouse to sit on the right and the laptop on the left, however you could use this left handed if you turn it around but would then be unable to use the phone holder.
