Newer design easier to clean .
Bought a while ago as old slow cooker had a crack in the bottom Cooks better and in less time .Easy to set up with choice of power settings plus a keep warm setting. The inner part is non stick so cleans easier

Game changer
I bought this to replace my older slow cooker with a ceramic pot which I found just too heavy so this model with the sear and stew facility is a game changer for me. I bought the larger size even though mostly it is just two of us but I am so pleased I did. Plenty of room for a good sized chicken or a lamb joint. I have made a beautiful beef casserole and a Butternut squash curry so far and am eagerly anticipating the cooler autumn/winter days to use it to it’s maximum potential

Amazing addition to our kitchen
We bought the larger slow cooker to make bigger batches of casserole and pulled pork for two fundraising events. It is an excellent addition to our kitchen, making larger batch cooking so much easier, than our smaller Morphy 3.5l version

This is my first slow cooker and honestly it’s so easy to use, I’m so pleased with it. I make 6 very large portions of a meal for myself and it’s just made life so easy! I make soups in mine as well as stews, it’s great for both.

Great slow cooker.
Really pleased with ths slow cooker. Was bigger than I expected but makes it great for when I want to do batch cooking or if you have a large family. I love that the temperature auto adjusts according to the time you set, though you can still override to self select if wanted. Doesn't have to be on all day, can use for fewer hours. Only tried for lowest of 8 hours and longest of 10 so far, but food cooked beautifully. The inner pot is metal rather than crockery,making it much lighter. Idel for me as suffer with arthritis and struggle with anything heavy. I would definitely recommend this.

You can do both, searing can be done with the liner on a cooker ring, then put it back in the slow cooker.
