About this product
Block out light and add a decorative accent to your windows with this blackout roller blind. The teal design features elegant cranes and colourful waterlilies that add character to neutral walls in minutes. Made from blackout fabric, it blocks sleep-disturbing light to create a restful space for deeper, undisturbed sleep. The blind measures 90cm wide and 160cm drop, and you can easily trim it for a made-to-measure fit. It includes all fixtures and fittings plus clear instructions for quick, hassle-free installation.
The chain mechanism can be fitted to either side to suit your room layout and window position. It's been tested to meet 2014 blind safety standards, and you can fit it inside or outside your window recess or directly to the wall. Please note To ensure child safety and comply with health and safety requirements, always fit P clips or cleats when installing these blinds to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach. Dust or wipe with a damp cloth to keep it looking fresh, and it's covered by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee for added reassurance.

Bought the smaller 90 cm one for my ensuite bathroom & this blind for the kitchen. I'd been looking for new blinds for a couple of years ever since we had the new kitchen fitted, but I couldn't find anything anywhere that though would work. But then a friend bought these same blinds and showed me a photo - I knew immediately they would be right for the rooms. The only niggle is the cheap plastic cord - they don't last and tend to break making the blinds unusable. The manufacturer should be encouraged to use metal cords. Also the blinds are blackout, so no one can peep through like my old blinds. Thank goodness.

The supplier has confirmed. The Japonica Crane Blackout Teal Roller Blind has the crane pattern printed only on the front side; the back side is plain, but you can install or roll the blind either way so the patterned side faces the room.

Habitat Japonica Crane Blackout Teal Roller Blind - 90cm:
The blind is not a no-drill or twist-to-fit design. It comes with two brackets, one at each end, which need to be drilled and fixed to the wall or window frame. Once the brackets are securely in place, the blind simply clips into them.
