ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH!
The delivery driver was fantastic. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I can say about this dining set. I paid £250 for a table and four chairs and received what can only be described as absolute rubbish. Multiple pieces of wood arrived cracked, broken or damaged, screws were missing, and the overall quality is shockingly poor. Before I had even finished assembling it, I was already dealing with defects that should have been picked up during even the most basic quality inspection. The materials feel cheap, flimsy and poorly made. This is not the quality I would expect from Argos, and certainly not for £250. At this price point, customers should be receiving a sturdy, usable dining set, not a box full of damaged parts and frustration. What genuinely amazes me is that I honestly believe I could have bought a better-quality dining set from Temu or Shein for a fraction of the price. When a £250 Argos dining set makes you wish you'd shopped on Temu or Shein instead, something has gone seriously wrong. This product is overpriced, poorly manufactured and should never have been sent out in the condition it arrived. Save your money, save your time and save yourself the headache. One of the worst furniture purchases I have ever made.

To be honest, I thought that this table and chairs would be a stop gap for Christmas time for us, but I was really surprised. Its very sturdy for a small table, and the chairs are the same. It fits lovely in our lounge, which is a funny shape, and we love it!!!!

The supplier has advised the following for the Home Kendal Solid Wood Extending Table & 4 Oak Chairs:
“ The table overall size is as below:
Fully extended size is 90L x 75W x 75H cm
Both side drop leaf size is 45L x 75W x 75H cm ”
Size of each chair H90, W42.5, D44.5cm.
Seat height 47cm.
Therefore, 1 chair each end will fit width wise but not fully up to the back of the chair when pushed in.

Hello Pat. The Argos Home Kendal Solid Wood Table & 4 White Chairs have PVC cushions and the colour for this catalogue number can be seen in image 11. For the white table and chairs the cushions are grey. I hope this helps.
