Perfect gate for narrow doors
We have a narrow door to our utility room and this gate is perfect. We didn’t want to drill or screw into the frame so the pressure mounts are great. It is only to keep our new puppy in so we didn’t need to screw the cups to the frame but if you were using it at stair height you would need to. Easy to open but tricky enough to fix kids. Great buy

Yes, you do need to screw the cups into the wall or doorframe. The gate slots into and is held by those.

I can advise that this gate fits a opening from 61 to 68cm, if you add a 10cm extension, that will changes the gap opening to 71-78cm. This will still not achieve the 70cm you need.

“ Because this slim gate with bottom frame which is the risk on tipping over, we suggest customer choose wall fix gate without bottom frame – 6983183 fitting the width from 60cm to 97cm. ”
