This LED solar guardian wall lantern with PIR motion sensor is a smart and eco-friendly way to provide additional lighting and security to your outdoor space. The wall lantern uses solar power technology to charge its battery during the day and automatically turns on when motion is detected at night. The lantern has a durable polycarbonate grey body and emits a bright and crisp 4000K cool white light. The lantern is also weather and dust proof rated to IP44, making it suitable for any outdoor environment.

Bright light

Effective and bright
Pleased with this sensor light, bought to highlight some steep steps at the front of the house when it’s dark. Wld have been 5 stars but the instructions for use aren’t clear and the button you press, when you finally find it, to set which mode you want doesn’t indicate what your choice is so you have to keep your fingers crossed and mount the light onto the wall and wait and see. Other than that it’s very effective.

Our supplier has advised that the Luceco Guardian PIR Solar Wall Light takes 6 hours of full sunlight to charge.
MODE A
Automatically turns ON to full brightness mode (220lm) when motion is detected within 6 metre range and then returns to weak brightness (dimmed front and back light on) after 10 seconds of no motion.
MODE B
Automatically turns ON to full brightness mode (220lm) when motion is detected within 6 metre range and then returns to standby night glow mode (back light only on) after 10 seconds of no motion.

The Luceco Guardian PIR Solar Wall Light would be fine on a north facing wall. Please note the light will need a certain amount of sunshine to charge enough for it to illuminate.

WORKING MODES
Select by pressing the power button until desired mode:
MODE A

The Luceco Solar Guardian Wall Lamp works straight out of the box, charging immediately. The light is triggered by motion, so will still charge when not illuminated.

Hi there
The Solar Wall Lantern (LEXSL20G40) has a power button on the rear, usually covered by the wall bracket when the light is installed, which can cycle the light between Off Mode -> Mode A -> Mode B -> Mode C -> Off Mode each time it is pressed.
Active time depends on the mode:-
Mode A is normally active at 20% output from dusk until the battery runs down, around 5 hours on average
Mode B is normally active at 3%, ramps up to full brightness for movement then back to 3% 20 seconds after movement stops, so depending on movement this could last all night potentially
Mode C is normally off, activating at full brightness for movement then going off again 30 seconds after movement stops, so again depending on movement this could last all night potentially
