So much more clearer than my older ring doorbell. Night vision is so much better too. Changed the position and it covers a lot more now. Love the fact it’s plug in so we don’t have to keep taking it off to charge it. Also was half price when I bought it.

Wanted wireless
I put the wire through my window and attached doorbell to woodframe on door frame. Only time will tell if the wire gets damaged. The picture quality is not great but that could be due to the wire getting squashed through window? Only time will tell.As my battery operated ring doorbell gen 2 seemed clearer picture quality. This doorbell is only supplied with a wedge mount but you can buy additional mount if you didn't want to use the wedge mount.

Regular installer of the ring door bells, never had any issue installing them or came across any issues. If signals are great everything is fine. I always recommend to go for the latest version as comparing with old generations; picture quality is great as well as response time as well.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Ring Pro 2 Plug In Video Doorbell - Silver: You are able to use an older plug-in adapter from an older Ring Pro Doorbell with a newer Ring Pro 2 doorbell however we recommend you use the newer version that is supplied in the box.

I bought this one and it had with it in the box a circuit breaker to fit in a mains fuse box , I powered mine though from a plug in mains transformer made by Ring that we used before on the other vandalised doorbell and it works fine .
