Does the job, with advantage of not being as fragile as a glass version! It’s perfect for a nice mug of coffee (as always with cafetières the ‘cup’ size is not, of course, the size of a standard mug, as indicated by the ml).

After unpacking it I found it to be too small and will exchange it for the 8 cup size instead. This one makes just 1 small mug I guess!

Great Cafetiere. Because it's metal the filte has been made e really tight fit which reduces unwanted powdery dregs in my mug.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat 3 Cup Double Walled Cafetiere - Silver: It will stay warm about 60mins.
The indoor temperature of 24C, poured into the 95C hot water, placed one hour and the water maintained about 55C.
