Descaling for Tassimo machine
Bought these as the Tassimo light came on to require descaling as part of it's maintenance cycle. Have used other descaling tablets/solutions in the past that seemed to be compatible. Not that we have much scale build up here, but they should help preserve the life of the machine. Bought these from Argos as I couldn't find them in a shop locally, making this the most efficient way to buy them. Easy to use & would buy again

Simple, no need to stand & watch, unless you want
When my new machine flashed up that it needed cleaning, I needed something compatible, as the instructions did warn against some types. Reading from them, a quick google, from the quoted type number found the correct type. The tablet maintenance instructions stated that they could descale and preserve the machine's mechanism efficiently in around 30 mins. Two tablets are dissolved in a full water tank, and put back into the machine. A suitably large container >500ml is placed under the spout, the cleaning program disc in inserted. When "start" is pressed for over 5 seconds, an initial charge of hot water is passed through, to wet the surfaces, then over the next 25 mins the cleaning solution is heated and passed through in intermittant stages until the cycle is finished. The machine is then rinsed through with three cycles of clean water. JOB DONE

Simple to use when instructions were properly read
Bought a new coffee machine, but initially forgot about descaling. Located these tablets from the suggested items in the instruction booklet, to ensure they were compatible with it. Misreading the instructions, initially they had little effect, but when I read the instruction properly! they proved to be quite efficient in cleaning. At lest I know they will help preserve the machine for extended use.

The disc usually comes with the coffee machine mine had a slim slot at the back and it was inserted in there one you took the water tank off
The normal cleaning disc is the one you need. Fill to calc line. Add two tablets. Just press the start for 5 seconds to initiate.
