Looks can be deceiving !
The toaster looks very nice but unfortunately it is very poor at toasting , one side of the bread gets slightly toasted on one side while the other is barely toasted, you have to put the slices in upto 3 times even on setting 6 and then the bread comes out like cardboard

Replacement toaster
Not as powerful as the one we got rid off. The colour fits in with the rest of our kitchen appliances. It qorks well with my GF bread when toasting.

Stylish looking toaster.
Purchased this to go with the matching kettle. Looks fantastic. I like my toast fairly pale but still found I had to turn the dial up more than on our old toaster. Re-heat button is useful if you get distracted and prefer your toast warm. Takes a good sized slice of bread which others do not always do. Yes you can buy a cheaper toaster that may do the job as well but this one definitely has the edge on looks (and even my partner agrees which is saying something).

I love this 4 slice toaster, it not only looks good, it functions well. Toast comes out nice and golden on setting 3. My only niggle is it doesn't take the full slice of bread, I have to turn the bread upside down and wait for 5-6 seconds and it's done. Great quality and well made. It was also a good price. I'm definitely very pleased with my purchase. Thank you.
