I have had many bread bins over the years but I always go back th this type of bread bin . Long lasting well made and always of good value a kitchen must have for any type of bread product

My wife was pestering me to purchase a bread bin, and I choose this 1 as it looks stylish and the right size for what we needed. Its not the largest bread or either the smallest. But its suits us 2 for what we needed for.

Check Dimensions
Maybe fine for a regular loaf, but I should have checked the dimensions against the pan for our breadmaker - unclear how fresh it's keeping it as we have to cut it to fit it in!

Functional bread bin
Everything about this bread bin (so far) is fine. Only one slight niggle - the lid is a little difficult to open and close, as it is a wooden lid running on wooden runners (obviously!). Apart from this, it looks good in our kitchen. One word of warning though - it only holds one full-size loaf and very little else, so please ensure that you are OK with this before purchasing.

Pretty good considering the size
Folks say this is too small but for me it's perfect. I buy 3 x 400grm loaves per week plus crumpets and maybe some croissants. With a bit of jiggling they all fit in. My bread stays fresh for 6 days. Happy? Yes I am. Nice flat top for my biscuit tin too!

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for the Habitat Bamboo Bread Bin.
The back of the bread bin is curved, so it’s not suitable for wall mounting.

This bin will not hold a normal square toastie loaf without a struggle to close the lid. To be honest, it is not really fit for purpose.

An 800g loaf of bread is approximately 12 x 25 x 14.5 cm; so the Habitat Bamboo Bread Bin would hold one of these easily and perhaps a 400g loaf as well or a pack of rolls.
