I bought this a month ago. The sliding top was a little stiff at first but a bit of cooking oil cured it and it's now fine, a good purchase.

It's a bread bin. Looks good on the worktop. Keep bread in it.

Almost perfect
Good wee bread bin; decent quality and looks just like the picture (that sounds daft, but sometimes colours don't reflect accurately in pictures). My only minor grumble is it's a little bit short (or not deep enough) to properly fit Warburtons Toastie bread. It does fit, but you have to squash the corners a bit to fit the loaf in.

I have had many bread bins over the years but I always go back th this type of bread bin . Long lasting well made and always of good value a kitchen must have for any type of bread product

Check Dimensions
Maybe fine for a regular loaf, but I should have checked the dimensions against the pan for our breadmaker - unclear how fresh it's keeping it as we have to cut it to fit it in!

The back of the bread bin is curved, so it’s not suitable for wall mounting.

This bin will not hold a normal square toastie loaf without a struggle to close the lid. To be honest, it is not really fit for purpose.

An 800g loaf of bread is approximately 12 x 25 x 14.5 cm; so the Habitat Bamboo Bread Bin would hold one of these easily and perhaps a 400g loaf as well or a pack of rolls.
