Lightweight but good
Needed a lightweight aerial for the side of our static caravan. This did the job nicely, and an excellent picture.

Hello Chubbyhubby,
I can advise the following on the Philex 14 Element Outdoor TV Aerial:
Depending on your distance from the transmission tower you will be able to use this. This has a reception range up to 100 miles.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Yes. I previously had one on the floor of the loft and currently have one mounted on an old Sky dish pole. Check where your neighbours have their aerial pointing or check freeview website for your nearest transmitter and point it in that direction.
Simple answer: yes.
Complex answer: it depends on the signal strength in your area. If there is good reception from the nearest transmitter you shouldn’t have a problem. If the signal strength is weak or non existent you may have to consider a freesat dish.
Standard coaxial aerial cable
Hello Vincent,
I can advise the following on the Philex 14 Element Outdoor TV Aerial:
Assuming you are on able the connection type then this is a coaxial cable, standard type that you have is most homes. This doesn't use a satellite style connection with the thumb screw thread connection.
Thanks for using Q&A.
It depends how far away your TV is from the aerial mounting point. I always buy a bit extra to allow for the TV to be repositioned if required at a future date.
Hello Bill,
I can confirm the following of the Philex 14 Element Outdoor TV Aerial:
This doesn't come with a length of aerial coaxial cable for fitting into the house. There is a small adapter on the aerial that is a wire of 0.53m in length.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Len,
You can buy a pole from the manufacturers (Philex) website :)
Thanks for using Q&A.
