It’s compatible for those who use newer technology for example the newer IPhones and for those with newer cars with more modern USB charging ports. It’s slightly more expensive than similar brands, but overall the points outlined above make it a worthwhile purchase.

It will depend on the model of I phone's being used, the iPhone 15 has a USB C port and models 5-14 have lightning so if you are transferring data from a pre-15 model to a 15 then this cable will work.
