The Habitat Drew Bamboo Shelving Unit gives you practical storage that fits right into your sitting room, home office, or play room. It's made from bamboo with a warm natural finish and white lacquer detail, so it's sturdy enough for daily use and adds a clean, minimalist look that works with different interior styles. Four fixed shelves give you plenty of room for books, games, photos or work files without taking up too much floor space. The wide design means you can spread things out and keep them organised at eye level.
The bamboo is naturally strong and holds its shape under the weight of everyday storage. The shelves are fixed in place, so there's no wobbling or adjusting needed once it's set up. Simple,clean and sturdy
It doesn’t look that sturdy when first viewed and assembled but when fully assembled it is strong. Although it says bamboo, that’s only the end pieces quite heavy when assembled so be careful moving it. Good value good delivery and definitely worth a look, remember of course the shelves do have a max weight. I use it for medical supplies but it will look good in any room

Not worth £20 never mind £70
Having put many packed furniture together this has to be the worst with poor quality fittings of which around 20% of the screws and bolts were faulty. The whole thing itself is flimsy and not worth the price paid. I think I had a different item from everyone else who has left a review. Only the effort of putting it together has stopped me from throwing it away.

Yes, the upright sides can be painted. It shouldn't affect the function of the unit if done properly but it would invalidate the guarantee on the item as it would count as an alteration.
