A statement lamp!
I am very happy with this lamp - it's well made, aesthetically pleasing and heavy enough to be stable. Ash is a light-coloured wood with prominent grain, which adds an additional natural texture to a room containing a range of wooden furniture, light and dark.. Assembly was easy, though the third leg (packed separately in the box) needed a little gentle sanding before it would fit at the top - this was easy. I fitted a 12W LED bulb which, with Habitat's 49cm green velvet shade, illuminates a corner of the room by reflection off the white ceiling (similar to an uplighter) as well as casting a pleasant light downwards. The footswitch is easy to use.

Great stand
Looks good and small base so fits into spaces easier than other tripod stands. Wouldn’t have paid full price though
