The Vax Air Stretch is a bagless upright that's built for homes where stairs, upholstery and awkward corners are part of the job. Basic but good
I bought this in a hurry when mine broke on Housework Day. I looked for a long lead and reviews that mentioned good suction. It's a bit basic and lacking little nineties (you have to change the height of the brushes by hand on a sliding scale that's at the foot of the machine) however, it does have a long lead, and the hooks are big enough to take it all, and the suction is great. The noise it makes takes some getting used to but at least my neighbours know I'm home. I'm happy and hope it lasts.

I bought this vacuum with some vouchers we got for our wedding Good vacuum, nice long wire so don't have to unplug from room to room. Super powerful so picks up every little thing on the floor. Eady to manoeuvre around the house.

I bought the cleaner a few months ago. I’m finding it satisfactory to use and has good suction. I wouldn’t say it’s the best cleaner Ive ever bought, and finding the lead very long and a nuisance at times.

Great value for money
I have used the vacuum once and I am so happy with my choice of purchase. It's light to carry, easy to assemble. Came with clear instructions. It has a sliding cover that increases or reduces suction depending on the carpet thickness. The motor roller is not bulky and can get under and into spaces that my previous vacuum cleaner could not, so it can get right under radiators and low shelving tables. I thought my carpet was clean when I used it but the amount of dust and stour it picked up was very surprising. It's so easy to use. The cable length is a real bonus also and it has took attachments. So this is real value for money. Of course I don't know the life span or robustness yet (my last cleaner was 34 years old) if it lasts a third of that it will be money well spent.
