Does not work on deep pile
This does not clean deep pile rugs. Even though it says it does deep pile it does not. The beater bar stops turning. Fine on short pile carpet. The hose only just reaches the top stair & it is really stretched. The extra long cable gets tangled up so no use. I normally have a vax but would not recommend this.

The waste bin would need to be removed from the hoover body and then the button to open the bottom will allow the waste to be put in a bag or dustbin.
