1. you have to obtain the sata interconnect seperately 2. you first have to download and install Magician from link before starting installation 3. my intallation was easy, quick and sucessfull, changing from similar ssd but may be more complicated if a changing from a larger drive My previous EVO ran out of space but ran perfectly for years.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD Internal Hard Drive: The 870 EVO SSD was created to be used internally, directly attached to the motherboard of a laptop/PC.
Therefore, we cannot confirm if it will work/be detected when used via an adaptor/HUB. Even if it was initially working, we cannot confirm its long-term usage if connected externally to a tablet.
Hence, we suggest you use it internally on a PC/laptop

This doesn't come with any cables however on the manufactures website there is a data migration software that you can use to move all your data (including the operating system) to this drive. You would need an adapter connected to this drive to allow you to connect it to the computer to allow the old drive to migrate onto it.

Yes this will work and speed up the PS4 significantly. But you will have to copy the software from the old PS4 internal hard drive
