I bought this after switching to full fibre broadband meant the position of my new router would be inconvenient to connect to my desktop pc via cable. With this plugged into a usb port I’m now getting a fast internet connection without a cable to trip over, so mission accomplished. It’s small, relatively cheap, and is easy to set up (I used the supplied cd). Absolutely no problems so far, and would buy again if a similar situation arose.

Works well. Used it with my desktop PC (which doesn’t have WiFi) when we had an issue with our Ethernet broadband. The dongle allowed me to wirelessly connect the PC to a hotspot from my phone so I could continue to access emails and the internet whilst the broadband issue persisted.

A must have to convert your pc to wireless
Plugged it in the back of my pc in the usb and it worked instantly converting my wired pc to a wireless as our broadband hub had to be moved. I haven't bothered using the cd that came with it. Needs no setting up at all it just gets recognised.

It does not support video output or wireless display functions, so it cannot connect your phone directly to a monitor for screen mirroring.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the TP-Link Archer T3U AC1300 Wireless USB Adapter/Dongle for PC: When you plug the Archer T3U into your PC, it does not automatically connect to your Wi-Fi network. You will need to manually connect your PC to your Wi-Fi network using the following steps:
1. Access Wi-Fi Settings: Go to your computer's Wi-Fi settings. This can usually be found in the system tray or in your network settings menu.

This is due to a limitation of the Mac OS system, which prevents our product from being able to fully interact with the Mac OS operating system in these versions.
