This Double hotplate hob's compact design gives you more cooking options with its 2 cast iron heating plates, suitable for all kinds of cookware and the durable powder coated steel exterior makes it easy to clean. 2500W power is split between the large hotplate (1500W) and the small hotplate (1000W) with independent variable heat settings for ultimate cooking control. The lightweight compact design comes with foldable handles so it is easy to move around and store away.

Great instant cooker
I bought this cooker about 6 months ago, to run alongside my aga electric which is too extravagant in its use of power to use all day. I am extremely happy with it, finding the folding handles very useful because we pack it away after each use to clear the surface.

I bought this hotplate in an emergency, when my gas cooker was suddenly condemned! Needed an urgent (temporary) replacement & this was ideal. Easy & straightforward to use, although there is a very strong odour when first used, but this soon disappears (after 1st use) & fortunately does not affect the taste of the food when cooked. As with most electric cooker hobs, this takes a while to heat up & subsequently cool down when adjusted, especially if you're used to gas, which heats up almost immediately. The 2 different sized hobs are very practical. I ended up having to use this for about 2 months, along with an air fryer (while waiting for a new gas cooker to be delivered/installed), but it is now back in the box for use in the future. Very pleased with it's performance, reasonably priced and would highly recommend. Would be ideal for caravans and very small kitchens.

The same has happened to me. I replaced the plug fuse but that didnt work contacted Argos was told that since its not a technical problem I have to go and have it repaired with a third party electrician at my expense.
