This Double hotplate hob's compact design gives you more cooking options with its 2 cast iron heating plates, suitable for all kinds of cookware and the durable powder coated steel exterior makes it easy to clean. 2500W power is split between the large hotplate (1500W) and the small hotplate (1000W) with independent variable heat settings for ultimate cooking control. The lightweight compact design comes with foldable handles so it is easy to move around and store away.

2 plate hob
Table top two plate hob, lasts about 15 months before it blows a fuse in the house and you need to replace.

Don't expect too much, spend a bit more.
I bought this months ago, can't remember exactly. It worked OK for 6 or so months, slow to react ( heat up/cool down) took a while to get the hang of it but eventually got it sussed. Controls are vague and the whole thing feels very thin n plastic. Eventually it packed up, blew a trip, never to work again. Fortunately due to past experiences with Argos I'd kept the box and receipt as Argos try their best to dodge any responsibility where possible.

Be careful HOT.
I bought this electric hob for my sister and her cooker broke not used one before so wasn’t really expecting much it’s quite surprisingly easy to use compact sturdy easy to clean I’m still being used three months later my sister is having a kitchen refit now. Big downside it takes a while to get hot and then stays hot after you turn it off which can be a little bit unnerving if you forget that it’s still hot after being turned off. Do you recommend but be very aware after turning it off it’s hot.

Great service from Argos as usual. I have had a single hotplate version for 2 years and no issues so purchases the Double Hotplate version which again I am pleased with.

Great little hotplate at a tiny price! £20 on offe
This hotplate was meant to be a temporary fix while my kitcnen was being installed. SIX MONTHS later, we still have a "camp kitchen" in the conservatory! I've cooked everything on it from stews and curries to fry-ups! It's amazing, and has never let us down. My only provisional is that there's no 'click' when you turn it off, and I've left it on a couple of times.

Good little hotplate
Bought this a few months ago and it still performs well on a daily basis. Compared to gas hobs, it takes a while to heat up but still does exceptionally well.

The same has happened to me. I replaced the plug fuse but that didnt work contacted Argos was told that since its not a technical problem I have to go and have it repaired with a third party electrician at my expense.
