I bought chain saw to cut some tree branches in my garden and it’s very good performance and easy to use but there is down side I didn’t not know I need oil to use the chain saw and it was not included with the product, I have to buy separately.

poor example of a chainsaw
bought this to replace my bosch had over 20yrs, argos being handy, thought a spear and jackson would be okay (MISTAKE). two cuts tighten chain no big deal but 4 cuts and chain is off again and again and to round it off trigger switch packs up..........

Hi Scottish 64,
To disengage the chain brake on your Spear & Jackson 40cm Corded Chainsaw - 2000W pull the brake lever backward toward the front handle. Keep the left hand on the front handle and roll the left wrist to move the front hand guard forward to manually activate the chain brake.
Remember to always follow safety precautions when operating your chainsaw. If you need further assistance, refer to the original instruction manual provided with your chainsaw.
