This made coffee just like a cafetière should
I put the coffee granules in and added some hot water. After just a few minutes I used the press and to my delight I was able to pour several cups of coffee that tasted like the coffee granules I put in. Very good.

The supplier has advised the following for the 8 Cup Cafetiere - Chrome:
Eight cups is 1000ml (when filled up to 8mm below the spout). These are not the standard US measurement "cups" as one of those would be about 250ml. In terms of the functional number of the cups, this will of course depend on the size of the cups that you'd be filling up from it.

have just bought this Cafetiere having read the information about the cafetiere being dishwasher safe on the Argos product description . Just reading the instructions it says dont put it in the dishwasher . Which is right ?
