Great little radio
I wanted a pocket sized radio to listen to the football on. Needed to have a decent sound quality and speaker. This radio is brilliant. Sounds amazing. DAB and FM. Definitely pocket sized and rechargeable batteries... Well impressed. Would definitely recommend.

I bought the same model just over a year ago and it failed but was out of Warranty. Bought again because of ease of use because of personal circumstances and hoping it doesn’t fail again wasn’t worth buying insurance as that was more than the item

Compact travel radio
Really small & compact, great value too, love the fact it’s rechargeable making it great for travel. Sound quality is only fair , but couldn’t expect anything more from such a small radio.

Overpriced radio that can't pick up dab+ stations properly. Heart 70s drops in and out. The recharge cable went and mini USB input for it stopped working shortly after I got the radio. Avoid avoid avoid. Waste of money.

Nice radio, but...
It's a nice enough little radio that I hoped would would pop into my pocket to use with ear phones and listen to while gardening etc. However, to get any reception I had to fully extend the antenna so not ideal.

The one I bought came with a standard micro-USB socket on the side of the radio plus a micro-USB to USB-A plug. So long as you have a USB charger and a cable that terminates with a micro-USB plug, you will be able to recharge the radio. Its really small but good sound output and I have found mine ideal for a travel radio and alarm clock

Update having purchased the radio I can confirm that you dont seem to be able to have the clock displayed or the alarms working when on battery mode unless you use the sleep setting first and allow the radio to play for at least 15 minutes. This also drains the battery by about 30 percent overnight

Providing that the internal battery has enough charge and will do so when the alarm is due to sound, this will work.

Hello, from the information we have available, this Bush Handheld Portable DAB+ Radio has an integral rechargeable battery. The Radio battery will take approximately 5 hours to fully charge, then you will be able to listen to your radio continuously for approximately 10 hours.
