Good but very noisy
I want to rate this higher, the bluetooth connectivity is a great idea but poorly implemented in terms of actual software design for the app itself. It does work via Bluetooth, once you master how to use the app without changing settings as you change tab. The heater is noisy, and getting nosier as it gets older. Mainly weird buzzing and vibrations which come and go and hard to predict when it goes into one. It does heat a large room pretty well for what it is and I've never set it above 20° despite it being a mild winter. I've learned to ignore the noise but it is unsettling and can be disturbing at times. For the price, I can't say it's value for money.

Easily controllable heater
Bought to use for extra heat around the house. Temperature controlled by digital thermostat, can be programmed to come on ar specific times. Also an app for your phone to control heater via Bluetooth. Very pleased.

Not worth the money
The heat heats up fine but the auto timer is really tricky to set up. Also once the heater heats up a lot os creeks and cracks starts as the metal part all expands at different times. Noisy night sleep!

Good controllable heat
Proved invaluable when central heating packed in. Heating can be controlled with a 7 day trimmer with 2 on off windows. Easy to override. Better still you can override from the comfort of your chair using blue tooth via your phone.

Good heater with lots of functions
A good heater with lots of functions and able to control via Bluetooth from a smart phone. Easily linked to my phone and works well to heat the room quickly and quietly. Touch controls are okay but sometimes a bit fiddly to go into the more advanced features such as daily timers etc.so not sure I'll ever make use of all the timers or functions. A clear written instruction book is provided and you don't need to use your phone if you don't want to.

Generally it's good. I like the digital display, three modes with timer, and controlled by mobile app, so it's very convenient to use. It might not be powerful enough for living room but should be enough for a bedroom.

Hello, after 20 seconds of inactivity, the screen will entre sleep mode. Any symbols on the screen will dim by 50%. Once the display is touch, the brightness will increase and the screen will come back on. I hope this helps - Dimplex Customer Support

From the details I have located in the manual it advises:
Screen & Button Sleep Mode
If no buttons have been pressed for approximately 20 seconds, the display screen and buttons will enter sleep mode,
all buttons except the Standby will disappear. Selected screen icons will remain visible to indicate the active mode but
the brightness of the screen icons will dim 50%. To reactivate buttons, place your hand on the display.
The appliance will continue to function as required once the unit is in sleep mode.

From the details we have I can advise:
Highly accurate thermostat that can be adjusted in 1 degree celsius increments.
The adaptive start timer setting, is a self learning feature that pre-heats the room ahead of a programmed heating schedule for only exactly the amount of time required so it is at the right temperature at the start of the schedule. So for example, if the EvoRad was following a timer which was set to 21 degrees at 7am, with adaptive start the heater will begin to heat before 7am to achieve 21 degrees at 7am, without adaptive start the EvoRad will only begin heating at 7am.

Having checked, it does have thermostatic control so it will heat up and then remain on at a level so as to keep the room's temperature at the setting you've chosen.
