The Dimplex Clement inset electric fire with a classic black finish and a realistic log fuel bed to illuminated by the Optiflame technology. Designed to fit in into a standard 18 inch fireplace opening with an inset depth of 90mm. It also includes a space kit which transforms the fire from inset to free standing meaning that it can sit flat to any wall or fireplace. The 2kW of heat , you have full control of the level of heat thanks to the 2 heat settings and adjustable thermostat.

This fire is fantastic even the dogs lay down infront of it just with the backlight on. The combination of the glowing logs and the flickering flames makes it look very realistic. More than happy to recommend this fire to anyone.

I bought this fire to replace a gas fire that had reached the end of its life. It fitted perfectly into the fireplace that the gas fire was removed from. The style and look is perfect, the log and flame effect is so authentic and the two heat settings with the built in thermostat is ideal for regulating temperature.

Perfect, can't fault. I read somewhere someone commented about the glitter when the fire is on, but it looks lovely and reflects how a firewood would look whilst burning. I do think it's a bit pricey but everything these days seems to be.

This model does not have a remote control, the controls are under the canopy.
Unfortunately on this model logs are the only option.

I can advise that the logs are one moulded piece - the black casing is a mix of plastic (FRET) and metal (TRIM). And the cable is in the middle of the back.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Dimplex Clement 2kW Electric Inset Fire - Black: when the fire is used on the flame effect only, it consumes approximately 20-30 watts. However, when the heater is on its highest setting, the maximum electricity usage is 1,8 kW per hour.

The inset width of the Clement is 18 inches. The total width is 20 inches.
