Returned because it’s noisy and the heat settings are affected by my tv remote control. As I change channels , so to the heat settings on the fire will change up and down. Also too bright flames

Looks beautiful. Easy installation requiring only an electrical socket. No need for hard wiring. Can be used solely as a focal point when heat is not required. It has various heat settings from low to high and the ability to blow cold air if needed on warmer days. Ideal for my purposes and I'm happy to recommend to others. Such good value for money.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it looks very nice and the silver chrome colour makes it look modern. I have only used it a couple of times but so far it seems to heat the room up quite quickly (and it's quite a big room). Easy to use with a remote control.

Bought this a few weeks ago. Paid £270 for it and we are so pleased we got it. Easy to install. Flames look so real and really chucks out the heat. Completely silent when just the flames are on with a low hum when the heat is on. You can literally stand it up against a flat wall.

The supplier has advised the following for the Dimplex Cheriton Deluxe 2kW Electric Freestanding Fire:
The Cheriton does NOT have any built-in USB ports at all (USB-A or USB-C). It’s just a heater + flame-effect appliance, powered by a standard mains plug.
You can’t plug your phone directly into it as a USB-C won’t fit because there’s no USB socket.
The flame effect can run independently of the heater. You can have:
- Flame only (no heat)
- Heat only (no flame)
- Both together
- The flame brightness is adjustable and designed to be visible even in darker rooms
So if your room lights are off the fire still works. In fact, it usually looks better and more realistic in low light

In order for the remote to work the fire does need to be turned on manually first on the fire itself.
