The Cheriton Deluxe features the very latest in Optiflame technology providing a vibrant flame effect creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The classic black outer frame is complemented by the traditional brass finish to the frame and fret along with the real coal fuel bed. This freestanding fire is designed to sit neatly against a flat surface and can be operated from the comfort of your arm chair using the remote control. Adjust the flickering flame intensity, alternate or combine red and blue LED's to suit your mood.

Great looking product at a great price
Bought as a replacement for my mums old gas fire. Great product, simple to install and use. The remote control is wonderful. The flame effect is so realistic my mum thinks its a gas fire. It has temperature control and a thermostat, and heats the room quickly.

New replacement fire
I bought this to replace my mums old log burner that eventually ran out of light and couldn’t be mended. She loves the flickering flame effect, the real coal element, we actually got a heart shaped pieces of coal that went on the top of the coal bed. And I love the fact that it’s digital, very modern, it has a choice of flame effects and colours and that is was very easy to install. It has a thermostat in it as well that helps to keep the heating element usage to a minimum.l, but it works perfectly well with out the heating being on and it also has a cooling setting as well. It helps mum to relax as she had a real coal fire in the cottage she lived in before and yes I would recommend this fire to any one thinking of buying a real effect fire.

Lovely looking fire that'll keep you warm inside.
I bought this a month ago after the gas fire didn't pass the service work. I'm very pleased with the look, the remote controlled flexibility of operation and overall comfort that exudes from this fire. It was so easy to buy at Argos and sometimes better to watch than the tellivision.

I bought a dimplex fire which did not work so took it back and ordered another one received that and it worked fine. West Hove sainsbury argos staff two girls, who I saw one was called jess I think both very nice and polite no problems in getting a replacement. Cannot fault my experience.
