The Cheriton Deluxe features the very latest in Optiflame technology providing a vibrant flame effect creating a cosy and inviting atmosphere. The classic black outer frame is complemented by the traditional brass finish to the frame and fret along with the real coal fuel bed. This freestanding fire is designed to sit neatly against a flat surface and can be operated from the comfort of your arm chair using the remote control. Adjust the flickering flame intensity, alternate or combine red and blue LED's to suit your mood.

Cosy fluckering fire
I bought this fire a couple of weeks ago. I looked at lots but this came recommended. It looks really cosy. It heats up quickly, you can hear the fan but it is silent with just the flames and no heat. It has lots of different settings for heat and flame effects. Nice that it comes with a remote control too. Have had lots of compliments from friends and family. Looks lovely at this time of year when it gets dark early.

Hello, thanks for your question! The Cheriton Deluxe is designed to sit flat against the wall, however the back is not a solid flat surface from top to bottom.

Hi Paddy, DO NOT use the appliance on deep pile carpets or the long hair type of rugs, or less than
750mm (30”) away from any overhanging surface. Other carpets should be okay. You do not have to remove skirting board, as long as the fire is level.

The power cord is approximately 1.7 meters and comes from underneath in the middle.
