This freestanding electric fire features the very latest Optiflame effect, creating vibrant, flickering flames that dance over a real coal fuel bed - all wrapped up in a handsome black frame with traditional brass detailing. It's designed to sit neatly against any flat wall, so there's no installation fuss, and it's ready to go straight out of the box.
You get full control from the comfort of your sofa thanks to the included remote, which lets you adjust the flame intensity and even switch between red and blue LEDs to match your mood. The flame effect works independently of the heat, so you can enjoy the atmosphere year-round. When you need warmth, there are 2 heat settings (1kW or 2kW) with a built-in safety cut-off for peace of mind. This fire is absolutely brilliant we never used the heating system of the fire we only have the light on to give the pretence of a real fire we had one before that use distilled water and it was a mess to have to top up every three days and at just under £500 this new cost half this amount and the flame effect from the bulbs is so life like one would think we had a real fire My wife and me both in our mid eighties can absolutely recommend this fire to one and all.

I brought this fire for my open fireplace for the summer month, it’s really nice flames and heats the room up really nicely. Very good, but issue with remote
Love this product, can heat a normal size living room in about 10 mins. Can also have a timer set to come on when temp goes down. My only issue is the remote is on same frequency a my LG TV so can be really annoying

Cheriton is a optiflame fire, can be that when turning on the flame effect the rotisserie and motor can do it a little noise while rotating, but is not disturbing or that you can't hear the TV, if that's the case the fire need a repair
The cable is included with the fire so it is plug and play.

It is possible to cut a small piece out for the gas pipe as its like a hard plastic thats what I would do hope this helps
Hello, thanks for your question! The Cheriton Deluxe is designed to sit flat against the wall, however the back is not a solid flat surface from top to bottom.

Hi Paddy, DO NOT use the appliance on deep pile carpets or the long hair type of rugs, or less than
750mm (30”) away from any overhanging surface. Other carpets should be okay. You do not have to remove skirting board, as long as the fire is level.
