Supposedly automatic heater…
This is a heater which supposedly comes on automatically. I’ve tried it on ECO and it won’t work on 5deg so I have had to put the temperature on at 10 deg which is wasteful. I am now trying just on the normal setting to go n automatically at 5 deg and I’m still waiting for it to switch on. I thought this would be easier than the manually operated one which in theory it should have been.

Great radiator
Bought this for my refurbished living room, which is +20 square meters. This is a temporary measure until I can get the money together for a full wall mounted electric radiator (£400+). Instructions are easy to follow, as are the funtion keys. I've set it up to maintain a temperature of 14 degrees so it automatically cuts off. I can definately feel the difference in temperature. Time will tell regarding longevity but I opted for a proper brand so hopefully it will last a long time and I can keep it in storage as a backup.

I bought this a month ago. In all honesty I probably bought a too bigger one for the space I wanted to heat. The functionality is great, the thermostat and the timer are brilliant. Warms my ‘small’ space up amazingly

Great product and easy to use.
Been using for 2 weeks or so now, this does a good job even on our larger rooms, set temp and leave. Powerful enough on eco and half power so not even tried to crank it. Major downside is no clock/timer for on or off just a duration for off function. Looks good in grey and pretty easy to move around. No remote like some equivalents.

Accurate temperature sensor
I bought this radiator recently to replace a damaged unit in the mother in law’s bedroom. I was looking for a replacement where the temperature could be set and locked, to prevent unnecessary adjustment by my mother in law who has dementia and would regularly crank up the old heater to max, at the slightest drop in temperature. The new radiator has been great at maintaining a constant temperature in the room which according to my Bluetooth thermometer is keeping the temperature to within about 1.5 degrees of the temperature set. This has helped stop arbitrary spikes in temperature, which caused health issues for my mother in law and has already paid for itself in reduced energy bills. If she is tempted to tinker with the radiator she will only succeed in switching it off.

"The radiator has a built-in thermostat, once the set temperature has been reached the radiator will stop actively heating. It won't turn off.
Once the room cools the radiator will start heating again. "

The supplier has advised the following for the De'Longhi Radia-S 2kW Oil Filled Radiator-Digital:
"The radiators can be used as much as wanted/needed, however, we wouldn't advise leaving them on for long periods of time unattended." (We'd advise the same, to not use it unnattended). They also recommended the following:
Never use the heater to dry laundry.
Never place the power cable on top of the heater while it is hot.
We recommend that you not place the heater in a draught, because strong draughts of air may adversely affect the equipment's operational efficiency.
Only use the heater in an upright position.
The heater must be positioned at least 30cm from furniture or other objects.
The first time you use the appliance, operate it for at least 15 minutes with the thermostat at maximum to eliminate the "new" smell. A little smoke due to the protective substances applied to the heating element before transport may be given off.
Position the appliance so that the plug and the outlet can be easily reached even after installation.
