Smooth, high quality bedding. The colour is a perfect warm grey (greige?). It washes well too. As for previous comments regarding the smell out the packaging…this disappears with first wash and I always thought you should prewash bedding so not a problem at all.

Great bedlinen, shame about the packaging
Great quality, feels like they will last, easy to iron. Good fit and the button fasteners were done well. Only problem was something that's affecting many other brands too is that for some reason the recycled cardboard inside used for stiffening them when packed stinks. The smell of course goes once washed and you should always wash new bedlinen, but maybe just leave out the stinky unnecessary cardboard like some other brands now do. You could even leave out the plastic wrapper like the big Swedish rival does.

Being pure cotton and 200TC, it shouldnt pill. The answer Argos is not helpful. The fabric would likely have been tested for pilling, so not sure why theyve not been more transparent.

The dimensions of the Home Easycare 100% Cotton Duvet Set - Double are 200cms x 200cms so will fit your duvet without any problems. The Kingsize set is 230cm x 220cm and as both sizes appear on the same web page, answers to questions for both sizes will be shown which can sometimes create confusion.
