Inspired by mid-century design, the Derwent oak 1 drawer bedside table with shelf offers plenty of storage space for your accessories. Crafted from solid oiled oak and oak veneer, the drawer features a hidden groove and slides on metal runners for a smooth finish. Raised on slim legs that give lightness to the piece, the conveniently placed shelf is perfect for storing books, glasses and magazines.

Gorgeous bedside tables.
I was a little apprehensive of ordering these as some reviews said they are difficult to build. If you’re used to building Ikea furniture then these will be a breeze. They took me 25mins to build one. They are very sturdy, gorgeous natural wood and a very good size. I highly recommend these.

We’ll made, pity about the colour
It’s nicely made and solids and a hood design. However the images led me to think the oak was much fairer than it is, it’s much darker than expected, which is a shame as it doesn’t go with the room afterall. The prospect of dis-assembling it (it took an hour to put together) means I’ll just be disappointed!

Sturdy and stylish but some issues
Long initial wait for delivery and then delayed by further 3 weeks (delay notification was only the day before which was frustrating). I found instructions for assembly quite complicated and needed to look very carefully at the diagrams so as not to make mistakes. One drawer did not close properly due to the runners not being screwed in enough - took a while to find out what the issue was but was able to fix. Colour was darker and more orangey than I was expecting. That said, I like the design and it is solid and a good size.

A little flawed but good size
We bought 2 of these tables with a 25 percent discount. We followed the instructions but still found it hard to assemble them. One of the fixtures broke and it was hard to get a screwdriver where required. The wood is darker than the website image but good quality. One of the draws sticks instead of slides open. These flaws are a shame as the style and dimensions are ideal.

After contacting our suppliers they have advised for Habitat Derwent Oak Bedside Table.
The leg and leg frame and handle are in solid oak, the reset parts are oak veneer.
