I always wash the rice about three times , that gets the starch out, for how much rice you put into the pan or the bowei i should say cover that with water dont fill the water to the top then put a table spoon of oil in you can add a little butter, i do i also put a little bit of tumeric in to make the rice go yellow and bing, a middle eastern woman shown me how to cook the rice in a rice cooker

The supplier has advised the following for the Russell Hobbs Large Rice Cooker – White:
“ Please instruct the client not to put any of the parts the product has in the oven. The product has to be used as instructed in the booklet.
Please also instruct the client that although in the manual it's confirmed certain parts are dishwasher safe we do not recommend they does so. We advise to clean it in warm soapy water with a soft cloth, not a sponge. ”
