Gave it a test run the same day as I bought it and the rice was excellent. Very light and portable rice cooker. Not too sure about steaming tray being white as it’s definitely gonna discolour with use. For £22.50 I can’t complain though. Great deal!

This rice cooker was a waste of money I thought it would be much bigger, the bowl was small and I expected it to be bigger it only holds 7 cups as my previous one holds 10. Don't understand why they say it's large the only thing about it is it's nice to look at but very disappointed. I couldn't be bothered to return it as the last time I returned something it too almost 3 weeks before u got my refund.

I always wash the rice about three times , that gets the starch out, for how much rice you put into the pan or the bowei i should say cover that with water dont fill the water to the top then put a table spoon of oil in you can add a little butter, i do i also put a little bit of tumeric in to make the rice go yellow and bing, a middle eastern woman shown me how to cook the rice in a rice cooker
