The Vax Compact Power Upright Carpet Cleaner is built for high traffic areas and smaller spaces where spills and pet messes happen. Weighing under 6kg, it's the lightest carpet washer in the Vax range, which means you can carry it up and down stairs with ease. The rotating AQUASPIN brush bar tackles tough stains and ground-in dirt, leaving carpets looking clean and fresh. The narrow floorhead gets into tight corners and along edges, and the compact design makes it easy to tuck away when you're done.
The clean water tank and dirty water tank give you enough capacity to do a few rooms before refilling, and there's a safety cut-out indicator that tells you when the dirty tank is full. It's a corded model with plenty of reach, so you're not constantly switching sockets. The carry handle makes it easy to move between rooms, and it sucks up spills as well as cleaning carpets. Suitable for carpets, and comes with cleaning solution included.

I am so happy with it but I expected it to be a little bigger than it is though it cleans so well. The tanks are so small that I have to fill and empty them more than sis times for just a three-bedroom flat.

GREAT LIGHTWEIGHT CARPET SHAMPOOER
I consider this Vax carpet shampooer to be good value for money as it really does make a huge difference to the carpets and is so easy to use. The only disappointment. I have is trying to clean the machine after use, it involves almost dismantling it to get all the parts cleaned
LIGHTWEIGHT WONDER
Lightweight but reliable machine
I am disabled and I bought this machine as listed as lightweight and it is true to its description. I had a really bad leak of dirty water from the roof and it sucked up all this and left the carpets nearly dry. The shampoo leaves a clean smell and the machine was easy to use. I would highly recommend it.

I bought this cleaner just a few weeks ago but was so pleased with it I have now cleaned ALL my carpets & rugs. It was so easy to use, very compact, easy to manoeuvre and most importantly cleaned, rinsed & dried all the carpets exceptionally well. The best carpet cleaner I have ever used. Would recommend 100% hence the 5 star rating

Purchased last week to remove stains on carpet. Had to repeat over stains a few times but is now very clean. Easy to manoeuvre and fairly light weight.

No, it does not heat the water. The clean water tank should be filled with warm water (max 40°C) only.
Filling the clean water tank with hot or boiling water will damage the machine and invalidate the guarantee.
