The Vax Compact Power Upright Carpet Cleaner is built for high traffic areas and smaller spaces where spills and pet messes happen. Weighing under 6kg, it's the lightest carpet washer in the Vax range, which means you can carry it up and down stairs with ease. The rotating AQUASPIN brush bar tackles tough stains and ground-in dirt, leaving carpets looking clean and fresh. The narrow floorhead gets into tight corners and along edges, and the compact design makes it easy to tuck away when you're done.
The clean water tank and dirty water tank give you enough capacity to do a few rooms before refilling, and there's a safety cut-out indicator that tells you when the dirty tank is full. It's a corded model with plenty of reach, so you're not constantly switching sockets. The carry handle makes it easy to move between rooms, and it sucks up spills as well as cleaning carpets. Suitable for carpets, and comes with cleaning solution included.

It will do the job.
Only used my machine once and I was OK with the result. My carpet was not heavily soiled and only a few patches that needed to be cleaned. The Machine did make the carpet look better, but a least another application will be needed in my opinion before I can say it has been cleaned. I thought that the small amount of cleaning fluid supplied with the machine was rather a poultry amount and I would have expected from a firm like VAX to supply at least one bottle of the cleaning fluid with the machine. I suspect that being supplied with a larger quantity of cleaning fluid, I would have given the machine a 5 star rating.

Fabulous product ~ incredibly reasonable to purchase. I used with the platinum antibacterial shampoo as we have a cat. Amazed at the dirt it brought out. Highly recommend.

No, it does not heat the water. The clean water tank should be filled with warm water (max 40°C) only.
Filling the clean water tank with hot or boiling water will damage the machine and invalidate the guarantee.
